Hence keeps what is on your mind as a simple list. Tap the microphone, say it, and it appears as one line. If you would rather write, use the keyboard button beside the microphone. Tap any line later to turn it into a reminder, an email or a calendar event.
iOS asks for two permissions the first time: the microphone and speech recognition. If you declined either, open Settings → Hence on your iPhone and turn them on. Speech recognition also needs a network connection.
The microphone listens for the language chosen in the app, not the one your iPhone is set to. Open Settings in Hence (the icon at the top right) and pick the language you speak.
Reminders are delivered by iOS, so notifications must be allowed: Settings → Hence → Notifications. They are scheduled on the device and do not follow you to another one.
The Agenda tab needs a Microsoft 365 or Outlook account connected in Hence's Settings → Calendar. Some organisations require an administrator to approve new apps before they can read calendars; if connecting is refused, your IT team can allow it. Adding a note to your calendar still works without connecting, through the share sheet.
Notes are stored on the device you created them on, and are not synchronised between devices. Deleting the app deletes them.
Write to iHenceteam@gmail.com and describe what happened and what you expected. The version and build number shown at the bottom of Hence's Settings help us find the cause.
